Step by Step Instructions for Level II Refereeing Qualification

Step 1 - Initial Course - c. 55mins

• Go to https://bafca.tovuti.io/officiating-courses
• Click register in the £40 Flag Football Officiating Course (top left)
• Complete the Course lectures
  • I recommend skipping the concussion course pre-requisite thing as it was super painful trying to sign up with the alternative website and not connected anyway.
• Complete the end of course 45-question Quiz
• You get a certificate at end of this but that is not the level 2 certificate. Just the course completion certificate

Step 2 - Emails from Flag Officiating - A few hours/days

• After completing the course, you should receive an email a few hours/day later

  

• Reply to that email with the requested 3 bits of info (list your BAFA squad) and with your course completion certificate attached.

• You will then at some point receive an email with a link to take the Level 2 “Exam”

  

• Feel free to join the discord as per their other e-mail

Step 3 - Do the “Exam” - 30 mins

• Untimed, open-book (i.e. with access to rules PDF), google form

• c. 25 true/false questions. Took about 30mins whilst using ctrl + f a lot in the rules

• After finishing the questions and submitting, I instantly got a feedback email with certificate (as attached). Doesn't give scores or answers to maintain exam integrity.

  

• Let Charlie know (at training🙏/in person) you’ve done it so he can update the Roster Ref variable on notion
